Hello everyone. It has been 5 months since my last posting. How time goes by nowadays. Last week while i was going through a bulletin, i have come across this saying by Prof.Ivan Lansberg. He wrote this:-
To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feeling is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.
But risk must be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing and is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love and live.
Chained by his certificates, he is slave.
He has forfeited freedom.
Only a person who risks is free.
After reading and pondering upon the above, i asked myself AM I RISKS FREE?

Hello Kenari, it's really wonderful to see your return after the longggg absence. I did pop in few times but you still MIA, ha ha.
Very interesting your this posting.
I read it three times as I think a lot of people do observe a certain number of what was quoted.
As for me, since I started working as well when younger I realized if I don't venture out, I wouldn't know. If I don't try, I wouldn't know.
But three great men had an influence in my life, it was 1/ General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Allied Commander, 2nd World War. He who made that final decision on June the 6th 1944 to invade Europe and committed several million towards the freedom of Europe from the Germans.
He and he alone made that decision. If he had miscalculated, Europe today will all be speaking German under German occupation.
2/ General George S. Patton. Commander of the US 3rd Army who was one of America's greatest generals. His army was the 1st to reach River Rhine, Germany. One of his famous sayings was, "I don't worry about the enemy, I let them worry about me".
3/ President John F. Kennedy. He was prepared to risk the world against a nuclear war with the Russians when Russia started installing missiles on Cuba. He blockaded the Russian navy as well gave Russia an ultimatum. Russia blinked and a 3rd world war was avoided.
All three were leaders, they led, they dare make decisions and prepared to accept the consequences.
Thus, it was then I had a motto to see me thru life:
'Those who dare, wins. Dare to be different'.
And thus you have read my many blog postings of my adventures...I did things what most people would hesitate in doing. Of course I did get into problems too, but what would be life if we just sit back. (Not many Chinese boys dated Malay or Indian girls, I did, ha ha)
Oh yes, I was promoted up the Corporate ladder very fast when most executives would answer to a Boss's proposal with a, "I don't think it can be done",
I always answer, "I'll get back to you". And the bosses will know should I get back to them, that I have tried, but maybe failed. But I tried.
And Kenari...I did reach the stars in my life.
You have a nice evening, best regards, Lee.
Kenari, I forgot to comment your last sentence whether you 'risk free'?
Everyone of us are not risk free...crossing the road is a risk, but you look left and right first...betul tidak?
Love and marriage can be a risk...but even if blinded by love, we do have at least one eye open, right? Ha ha.
So, have fun, don't let worry worry you. Lee.
Uncle Lee,
Thanks so much for visiting my humble blog. I was kind of boring and depress today at the office. Cannot decide which job to tackle and completed first. Therefore i make myself free to update my page. Ssssyyyy...please don't tell my boss :p
I totally agree with you regarding how we should respond to boss's job order. Never ever say you cannot or not able to do this or that (unless it is something against the law or religion lah).
Always respond positively and confidently. Keluar saja dari bilik bos lain cerita lah hahahaa. At least we tried and did our best. And get back to him/her as soon as possible.
Uncle Lee...you have live your life to the fullest. You shared your real life experience with us all. You have become our inspiration and sifu, especially when it deals with love and relationship. Am i right or am i right?
Have a nice day ahead...Kenari.
Hi Kenari, just dropped by say 'hello'...hope this catches you well and looking good as usual. Best regards, Lee.
